Public Notice: Vacancy on the Irrigon Rural Fire Protection District Board

The Irrigon Rural Fire Protection District Board is seeking a qualified individual to fill a vacant board position. This process is governed by ORS 198.320. Applicants must reside within the Irrigon Rural Fire Protection District.

The individual appointed to this position will serve until June 30 following the next regular district election, when a successor will be elected to complete the remainder of the term.  Anyone qualified, including the selected appointee, may run on the ballet for the remainder of the term.

Individuals interested in being appointed are invited to submit a letter of interest outlining their qualifications and commitment to the district. Letters must be received by the close of business on February 28, 2025.
