Irrigon Rural Fire Protection District is governed by a fire protection district board, elected at-large by registered voters within the district. Board Directors serve a four year term in office.

Board meetings are generally held on the second monday of each month at the fire station located at 705 NE Main Ave in Irrigon. 

Board meetings are open to the public.
